On The Repair Shop, I was challenged to restoring Jack Laugher's (MBE) gold and silver medals from Rio 2016. The lacquer was chipped and the metal below was faded and tarnished.

Since then there have been many medals passing through my workshop.
European gold Munich 2022, rowing.
Each medal is probably the most important thing that the athlete owns. It has taken years of work and dedication to achieve. It is treated with care and love to bring it back to as close as to when is was awarded.
Paris 2024 silver medal, cleaned and re lacquered.
Tokyo 2020 bronze medal. Many scratches and dents removed, re lacquered.

Keeping up with the sporting theme, I restored this badly dented London 2012 Olympic torch.
Being no stranger to Olympic torches, this Sydney 2000 torch was restored by me at The Repair Shop.
